As an eCommerce professional, you are (ultimately) responsible for your online sales and visibility. The e-commerce specialist has an alternating workload between executive and coordination activities, which means you are involved in creating social media campaigns, analyzing user data or developing a content strategy for the marketing team. Creativity and graphic, interactive and audiovisual design is essential for clearly standing out from the competition. With your (basic) knowledge of online sales, online commerce, marketing, e-commerce and calculations, you and your team of experts can jump into commercial opportunities that grow your business.
During the training, you will learn how to implement the sales process, you will learn how to conduct business conversations, submit an offer with a price calculation, and take care of the (internal) ordering process. You will learn how to maintain contacts with customers, conduct after-sales activities, handle complaints, conduct promotional activities and take care of the network. You will learn to research the market and make offers ccommercialpolicy. You will learn to design and implement media statements. You will learn how to create a schedule, how to create and present a concept and project, and how to track progress.

Tuesday is a normal day of classes. If you follow the BOL variant, you also go to school on Mondays or Wednesdays. You choose which day you will have classes. Intermediate changes for records between February and May
Adult education can be registered for different starting times throughout the year. In the period from February to May, the content and price of the training for the new school year will be determined and harmonized on the website. If you register during this period, the program information may differ from what you previously read on the website. This will be reflected in the offer you receive after the introductory meeting.

Review
You take several exams in theory and practice. In addition, you take the (state) language and arithmetic and meet the requirementsduty of effortin the section Career and citizenship.
Internship/place of work
You organize a recognized internship or job yourself to gain work experience (Professional practice) to make. If you already have an employer, there are sometimes opportunities.
Diploma
If you successfully pass all parts and meet all exam requirements, you will receive the MBO E-commerce Specialist level 4 diploma.
Keep learning
With a level 4 diploma you can move on to higher vocational education. These include commercial economics, CMD, MER business management, communications or international business. Or you can choose an associate degree in content creation, online marketing or e-commerce.
Work
An e-commerce specialist works in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and large companies in a commercial, service or manufacturing organization.

Frequently Asked Questions for Adults
Since August 1, 2019, we have been working in accordance with the Examination Regulation and the WEB Vocational Training Qualification Decree (EKB). This gives you a place in the exam and an exemption for general subjects such as language and arithmetic. From detailed rules to general principles. The new EKB creates a better connection with different MBO target groups.
ROC Friese Poort is temporarily using the space offered by EKB and will further develop an integrated language and mathematics policy in the coming school year.
Policy (Law of August 1, 2019):
- You can request a waiver for individual elements of general courses (previously you could speak, write and interview as a whole).
- Previously, results were kept for two years after certification. This expiration date is about to expire. If you passed the exam at the same or higher level, you can ask for a waiver. In the case of the central exam (general subjects), this is only possible if the exam has been passed based on the reference levels for havo, vwo and mbo (ie without hbo or wo).
- Waivers can now be granted for general exam elements for pass and fail grades. Note: Degree requirements (pass-fail regulation) remain in effect.
If you are participating in a course and your child attends an educational institution, you may be entitled to care allowance. You will receive this as a down payment every month. How much you get depends on the information you provide about how you expect your situation to look this year. For example, how many hours of childcare will you need each month.
